Mission and Outreach

The purpose of the Mission Committee is to reach out to the community, the region, and the world, showing the love of Christ through service to others. In addition, we inform the congregation of the work being done both locally and abroad, as well as the results of these efforts. We encourage everyone to contribute their time, talents, and resources to these outreach programs.

Nutrition On Weekends is a mission that provides additional food to children from

financially challenged families to help provide additional food on days they are not receiving breakfast and/or lunch at school.  Food is provided by donations of food from our congregation and an annual grant from the state of New Mexico.

Our church has the Bloodmobile at our location several times a year.  Blood donations are critical to support our health system.  We encourage our congregation to donate whenever possible.
